Explore how you can make your WLC education even more affordable!

Our Merit Awards and many of our scholarship opportunities are automatically offered to you as a result of either your WLC application or FAFSA; however, we also offer a variety of competitive scholarships for incoming students who desire to earn additional scholarship dollars!

Art Scholarship

Application Deadline: March 15, 2025

Incoming freshmen and transfer students with exceptional artistic ability are encouraged to apply for an Art Scholarship. This scholarship, with an annual value of up to $2,000, is renewable each year for a lifetime value of up to $8,000.

Erna Boxrud Scholarship

Application Deadline: May 1, 2024

Established in 1991 by Erna Boxrud, this non-renewable $3,500 competitive scholarship is intended to support, encourage, and promote students at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Kramer-Bothe Memorial Scholarship

Application Deadline: May 1, 2024

Established by a gift from the estate of Dolores Bothe in 2011, this non-renewable $2,500 competitive scholarship is intended to support, promote, and acknowledge students at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Music Scholarship

Application Deadline: March 15, 2025

Incoming freshmen and transfer students with exceptional musical ability are encouraged to apply and audition for a Music Scholarship. This scholarship, with an annual value of up to $2,000, is renewable each year for a lifetime value of up to $8,000.

MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

WRIGHTSMAN CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP Scholarship

Application Deadline: December 1, 2024

This one-time $2,500 endowed scholarship is available to incoming freshmen who qualify for the Christian Leadership Certificate Program and demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Scholarships are limited to a select number of students each year, with recipients meeting the criteria of Christian servant leadership as determined by the Executive Director of the Center for Christian Leadership.

WRIGHTSMAN CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Paul & Linda Oswald Scholarship

Application Deadline: May 1, 2024

Established to support, acknowledge, encourage, and promote Wisconsin Lutheran College students, this non-renewable $3,000 competitive scholarship is intended for incoming freshmen who demonstrate a commitment to leadership in serving others and have financial need.

Incoming freshmen and transfer students with exceptional dramatic ability are encouraged to apply and audition for Theatre Scholarship, with an annual value of up to $2,000, renewable each year for a lifetime value of up to $8,000.
