Kristy Wegner graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College with a B.S. in Education. She received her instructional coaching and mentoring certificates from Cardinal Stritch University (2013), certification for supervising student teachers from Martin Luther College (2013), and earned a Master’s degree in Education from WLC (2018). She has taught early childhood, elementary school, and middle school students, as well as adult learners as an adjunct professor at WLC. She has been a teacher, director, founding principal, and administrator. Kristy has always had a passion for supporting teachers and professionals in their roles and leading them to greater performance outcomes. For the last 10 years she has been on the administration team at St. Marcus Lutheran School on the north side of Milwaukee, where she will continue to be a congregation member. She enjoys brewing kombucha, hiking, and spending time with her mother, husband, adult children, and new grandson.
